Whatever, those people in red have nothing else, not even a descent football team to root forOne more embarrassment
Better this way!!! Stay loyal to one team instead of Minnesota having to many teamsWhatever, those people in red have nothing else, not even a descent football team to root for
Chant for the couple of baskets we made in the second half?Getting out chanted in your own place is fucking pathetic.

He plays more than he should. I think he's been better and quicker than I initially thought. He started jacking em up when things started looking grim, but that was the strategy to begin with. I believe Niko said we needed to make eleven 3's. Had nine in the first half and then went o'fer.Didn’t watch, but noticed Durkin had trouble from 3 again. Never does much in the box score besides scoring either. For those who watch more than I do, if the outside shot isn’t falling, does he have any value?
Not really. He's not much of a facilitator, a poor rebounder and his lack of athleticism makes him a defensive liability. He's a "mop up" guy in blowouts for a legitimate team. For those who watch more than I do, if the outside shot isn’t falling, does he have any value?

He gives effort, though...easy guy to root for.
Indeed. At this point there's no one else
There are teams we can beat, and most teams we can compete with despite the lack of pure athletes. Nebraska is not going to "out athlete" too many teams, but they are fundamentally sound and can shoot the ball.Indeed.
It's one thing to have an undermanned roster. It's an entirely different monster to have an undermanned, unathletic roster.
We won't many games the rest of the way and I'm content with that. Medved has earned my trust as a coach and program builder.
Last game, Asuma was limping. Gotta wonder if he played hurt. These kids take a beating every game.Asuma with 0 points and how many turnovers? It seems he misses his shots always at critical times... in other words, his misses have been turning into momentum killers for the team, IMHO. I know most people here love the guy, but lately I have not thrilled with his offense and occasional sloppiness with the ball. I guess it is his defense that wins people over? Thoughts?
I was at the game today, so just 1 fans take…
First half was genuinely encouraging. The Gophers played tough, physical defense, made a few mistakes but also hit some good shots and looked locked in. In the second half, though, both my seatmate and I felt something was off. They came out either overconfident or completely listless—I honestly couldn’t tell which. There were back-and-forth baskets, some bad Reynolds turnovers, the strange timeout, and then the Cade injury. More than anything, the contrast was jarring: a hyped, energetic team in the first half that took a nice lead followed by a group that looked flat and lifeless in the second. It was hard to tell if they thought they’d already won—or if everyone suddenly came down with the flu.
I watch or attend most games. First time it was this stark to me.
They were in the game until Tyson took an elbow to the head, followed by the knee. If you go to that many games you should know ball.I was at the game today, so just 1 fans take…

You got season tickets? One more embarrassment
Do you?You got season tickets?
No, but you made the comment. I'll take your non response as a NO as well. I have been to four games so far this year, and will probably make it to 3-4 more. How about you?Do you?
They also did a good job taking away our basket cuts. Their weak side defender was there for it, and the guy getting basket cut just rotated to the weak side. We probably should've run our cuts tighter, especially if it was a guy like Tyson, because they could've had some post up opportunities. Disclaimer: I didn't watch the 2nd half, so maybe that's an adjustment that was made. But I'm guessing getting blown out in the 2nd half would indicate it wasn't.Gotta give Fred Hoiberg his due. Nebraska defense was well prepared. Jumped our passing lanes, prevented easy ball reversal at the top of the key and knew that 95% of our drives to the hole were only trying to force help so we could pass out. They made it hard on us and our shooting dropped off in the second half.
