***OFFICIAL NEBRASKA AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Running out of healthy bodies, I’m just going to appreciate our hustle and style of play this year. As mentioned above, tough to win with 6.5 players, might be 5.5 if Tyson is out

Rough second half, but future is bright. I switched over and watched the Queen Live Aid concert. That never gets old.

Getting out chanted in your own place is fucking pathetic.

Everyone needs to buy tickets early for any home games against Wisconsin, Nebraska or Iowa -- when single tickets go on sale. Get the better value tickets before they do.

It's understandable fans were not interested before the start of this season because the program was down. Next season we have to be ready.

No complaining if people don't get in early for at least something.

This season was a lost cause for those games. Next year go into action early.

Asuma with 0 points and how many turnovers? It seems he misses his shots always at critical times... in other words, his misses have been turning into momentum killers for the team, IMHO. I know most people here love the guy, but lately I have not thrilled with his offense and occasional sloppiness with the ball. I guess it is his defense that wins people over? Thoughts?

Just a brutal 2nd half. Couldn’t do anything. Would be nice to win a few here and there.

I don’t know how that wasn’t a flagrant foul.

And just a general observation: they need to have the clock stop after a made basket in the last minute of the 1st half. We made a bucket at :38, then Nebraska player slowly grabs the ball and passes to the ref for no reason, then they finally inbound it so they can take the last shot.

Didn’t watch, but noticed Durkin had trouble from 3 again. Never does much in the box score besides scoring either. For those who watch more than I do, if the outside shot isn’t falling, does he have any value?

He plays more than he should. I think he's been better and quicker than I initially thought. He started jacking em up when things started looking grim, but that was the strategy to begin with. I believe Niko said we needed to make eleven 3's. Had nine in the first half and then went o'fer.

Not really. He's not much of a facilitator, a poor rebounder and his lack of athleticism makes him a defensive liability. He's a "mop up" guy in blowouts for a legitimate team.

He gives effort, though...easy guy to root for.

At this point there's no one else

Indeed.

It's one thing to have an undermanned roster. It's an entirely different monster to have an undermanned, unathletic roster.

We won't many games the rest of the way and I'm content with that. Medved has earned my trust as a coach and program builder.

There are teams we can beat, and most teams we can compete with despite the lack of pure athletes. Nebraska is not going to "out athlete" too many teams, but they are fundamentally sound and can shoot the ball.

Last game, Asuma was limping. Gotta wonder if he played hurt. These kids take a beating every game.

I was at the game today, so just 1 fans take…
First half was genuinely encouraging. The Gophers played tough, physical defense, made a few mistakes but also hit some good shots and looked locked in. In the second half, though, both my seatmate and I felt something was off. They came out either overconfident or completely listless—I honestly couldn’t tell which. There were back-and-forth baskets, some bad Reynolds turnovers, the strange timeout, and then the Cade injury. More than anything, the contrast was jarring: a hyped, energetic team in the first half that took a nice lead followed by a group that looked flat and lifeless in the second. It was hard to tell if they thought they’d already won—or if everyone suddenly came down with the flu.

I watch or attend most games. First time it was this stark to me.
