OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS MICHIGAN LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD

Give him the job at halftime Kaler.

That'll fire up the troops!

Would have liked to have seen them take a shot, but that was probably the smart decision.
Mitch's long pass to Lingen was floated and was almost intercepted and his throw to Maye in the end zone was late. My guess is they wanted to make sure that they got some points and maintain the momentum going into halftime and not risk another bad throw. Don't know if I agree with it, just understand it.

Need to have this experienced coaching staff make good adjustments at halftime like they have for the past 20 years.

Leidner was getting a little too loose with the throws. Better to kick the FG. Keeping the momentum was worth way more than 3 pts. Good call by Tracy.

Much as I complain about not trying to run more plays, I sure wouldn't have believed you if you said we'd be up two at halftime.

Halftime stats are shocking. We are out-gaining them 256-145. Michigan doesn't give up 256 per game. If Mortell doesn't kick a short liner we're probably up by more. Let's keep that JUG!!!

Like most I am not crazy about the decision to lay up and not take another shot or two at the endzone before the half but other than that it was a solid performance. So far the lucky breaks seem to be going our way (ball to Lingen and the TD to Still) hopefully that keeps up in the second as well.

Biggest thing was not letting it get out of hands when Michigan got up 14-3. Anything can happen now....

Even Claeys' half time interview was good... Passion vs Emotion. He's my coach!

Yeah, Mitch is running out of lives. I think I agree with not taking a risk there.

What a great half! D is playing great against the run, forcing Rudock to win the game. O is playing outstanding! 250 yards of offense against a top 5 national defense?! Really inspired effort by the kids and coaches.

Somebody shout when 2nd half starts, I'm watching a little Wild...

Dunno about you guys but I'm rushing the field if we win... I'm at home so I'll start rushing right now.

Like Claeys said in his press conference....he's a math guy so he knows about probability and risk. I agree it was the best choice to get 3 and take a lead into halftime.

For all the Mitch hate that goes on around here, we're a significantly better passing team than running team at this point.

My guess is Harbaugh will try to get the running game going in the second half. They are only averaging 2.6 yards a carry. Defense has done a great job.

I also hope/expect to see a few more Leidner keepers on the read option. It is there and Leidner appears to be moving around better than he has most of the year.

Hopefully Santoso boots this thing out of the end zone. Peppers scares me back there.

Tell them how it is Tracy.

If they call PI equally, we're up at least 10

The ref will call anything on the Gophers but Michigan can be all over our receivers.

What a terrible way to open the half. Come on guys, you're better than that!
