OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS MICHIGAN LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD

Carrying a lead into the fourth...can you believe in miracles?

Rules guys, does illegal touching only apply to offensive players? I'm surprised Peppers could be the first person to touch the ball again after going out of bounds.

I noticed that too but not sure if there is any such thing on a punt return?

Come on guys, we need to capitalize and score and force their backup to pass more. Our pass rush looks like it's close to getting to the QB!

Wait, if you try to return the ball out of the end zone and don't make it, its a touchback? That's a new one for me.

I think the returner need to fumble not just muff the punt for a safety

Michigan didn't get to be MICHIGAN without getting those calls for years and years.

Except of course that it was the right call but whatever. With Ruddock out and our defense playing the way they are I like our chances to pull this one out.

Must not be because no one argued.

Had the Gophers recovered the muffed punt, it would have been their's, but I've seen that call before.

Exactly. If he touches it the ball is live but it is not a safety unless the return team has possession of the ball and then it goes into the endzone.

I'm liking Lingen!! Not as flashy as Maxx but certainly consistent.

Had to listen to a lot of the game on the radio due to trick or treating. One thing they keep talking about is us breaking tendencies, especially on offense. The Michigan defense is definitely struggling with what we are doing which tells me things must be different then what they were anticipating on film.

12:48 mark was their de lined up in tue backfield?

TC said he'll put in a few tweaks. He certainly did!

Hate that play call. They know they have almost no chance of getting a 1st there...

I don't know who this is but this made me laugh.

Whoever comes out to play QB here for Michigan is huge. Rudock is capable of beating us. Anyone else....I like our chances.

Why are they not passing when they are close to the thirty yard line?

We tried passing from the 34 last time and Mitch lost 10 yards on a sack. I wasn't upset with this play call.

Poock is really good. Great closing speed on the 2nd down play.

So clearly Michigan doesn't have the depth at QB that their main rival Ohio State has.....backup does not look good at all and we all know Morris is garbage as well. At this point we just need to avoid the killer mistake on offense like a pick 6 and we should be in great shape.
