Who are those guys in the gold jerseys, and what have they done with our Gophers?
 

It's been a while since the Gophers have had a kicker that is money!!!
 

How the heck does this guy Wettstein go under the radar? That 51 yarder would have been good from 65 yards. (of course though he had the wind but wow)
 

Defense is looking *AMAZING* so far... I don't know if it's us playing great or Illinois playing terrible right now...
 



When's the last time the Gophers shut out someone in the first half?

I think it is a bit of both. Illinois is in a major tailspin but we are definately playing with emotion.
 

I wonder what second half adjustments will be made? This will be an interesting half for sure!
 

Great first half. Definitely being helped by Illinois playing terrible but I think it would be an understatement to say this is the best the D has looked all year.
 

It's amazing this is the same Illinois team that was putting up 50+ & 40+ at a time when we were giving up 50+ & 40+ a game...
 

lookin good, lookin good. Gophers seem real crisp on D, and our D Line is dominating the line of scrimmage. For a true freshman, Amaefula has played overall quite well this year, im impressed.

The D only gave up 18 yards this first half. I dont care how dysfunctional Illinois is, thats impressive
 



Confidence booster, no doubt. Now, what will Coach Kill do? I can't see him run up the score and who will get to play in the 4th quarter?
 

I must admit though, we are going to miss Royston next year. Hopefully someone will step up, talented freshman and all are welcome to apply to this position
 





Someone tell Gray we still have a half to play. Misses a wide open receiver and then fumbles the ball. He needs to settle down this half. Please, do we not have a backup punter who we can put in there.
 

I really hope Gopher's punter isn't on scholarship, worst punter I've ever seen
