Where the hell were the starters the last 4 minutes?
 



When I said step on their throat I meant extend the lead. Not let them cut it to 1 with their best player on the bench.
 

Mbakwe needs to get back on the court for major minutes in the second half, him and Rodney make it go inside. We stopped going inside the last 4 minutes, that's the only way we win this game.

We are looking lost at times in the half court. It is inexcusable to go on a 4 minute scoring drought on your home court. We need to figure it out at the half, if we keep up what we were doing in the last five minutes, we are in trouble. And make some gosh darn free throws.
 

Tough last 4 minutes. After going up by 12 fell apart. Some frustrating block called for fouls. Hopefully we can regroup. Team really needs Andre in the game.
 

Defense by Eliason not too bad....but he is lost on the offensive side.
 



Elliot has given us some good minutes. Free throw shooting is killing us. Get the starters in the game and let's open this up. 21 year olds should have no problem with extended minutes.
 

UGH. I wish I could watch. Stuck at work. I can only see the score overlay on ESPN. Are we playing well?
 


Trice is shooting out of his mind. The one that he shot from the top of the key was pretty lucky.....bounced and went in. That was a big turn around.
 



Good half for the Gophers. I can't see MSU going 4 for 5 from behind the arch in the second half. However, we still get caught watching the paint dry when we are forced into a half-court offense. We need to move the ball in our offensive sets and get that good open look. Overall, however, we're playing a solid game.

We were playing extremely well for the first 16 minutes, then the offense went stagnant and MSU hit some 3's. Ball movement was very good early on, good dishes around basket resulting in a lot of good looks and "easy" shots. Last 4 minutes, lots of jump shots.

Tubby's half-court O is what it is. Don't expect much more.
 


rodney was aggressive early... then he missed a 3 and a runner... and has been standing around since then... we need some half court O besides Andre
 


We defend 2 point shots wonderfully...but we can't defend the 3 to save our lives....5 of 6 for MSU so far on 3's....9 for 25 on 2's....

It just seems like MSU will do whatever neccessary to beat us. We need to get over this hump once and for all. I think the Tubby's substitutions really ruined our flow when we got up 12.
 


Early 2nd half will be big for confidence. Can't let MSU get ahead by more than one shot or we really could fall apart and the crowd will deflate fast. Hit a few shots and the crowd will stay in it.
 

Austin has forced some long 3's and that travel call on his made 3 was a huge moment. We need dribble penetration! Anybody!!
 



missing FT... welch missed 2 of them?... not good... too pumped up?
 

I'm confused, does anyone know where Keith Appling was for the last several minutes of the half?
 


Man with the way that half ended I have a sick feeling in my gut but we are still up one and played pretty good for most of that half. Need to come out fired up.

Not sure if serious, but he had 2 fouls and then MSU started to get on their run and they didn't need him back out there.
