***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT UCLA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Well this is fun.

Past the Johnson bobos bedtime, apparently.
Mine, too.
Enjoy the game, whatever may come.
Work yanked my chain early for tomorrow.
I'm too old for working at college era sleep levels.

4 shot clock violations.....unreal. UCLA is playing great D but experienced players like we have should have a better feel for the game.....has been a problem all season but ridiculous tonight.

Stop turning the ball over. It really isn’t that hard. 10 TOs with 4 being shot clock violations. F’in ridiculous!

Four shot clock violations and another 3, at least, forced no-chance shots as the clock was about to expire.

With 1:40 left in the half, Fox gets fouled…tv updates the fouls on UCLA to 7 fouls vs. 4 for Minnesota.

At 1:25 tv changes it to 6 fouls on UCLA and 5 on the Gophers.

WTF?

Perimeter guys have license to shoot and need to think shot before they catch the pass. There are some opportunities to get shots up, but if we continue to hesitate, even for a split second, UCLA’s defense is too good. Nothing to lose. Need to get a little more aggressive.

It’d be cool if it was occasionally called a foul when they physically beat the trash out of us, too.

Wisconsin would have been back door cutting the shit out of this half court, on the ball defense. We simply do the Globetrotter weave at the top of the key and heave up a last second desperation shot.

Putting aside our madcap desire to dribble continually against a ball-hawking team—the unanswerable question is whether Cochran would have provided the bull strong guard action needed to play through contact. It’s a huge help in Big Ten road games. And, yes, I’m hopeful for the future entertainment value of watching Cronin whine; moan & yip against a good Minnesota team on the elevated floor. with the students giving him hell.

You’re a bit obsessed with wisconsin

Maybe have a nice cup of tea and call it a night

So much more aggressive in the second half....and the refs decide to finally call the double hand-checks and arm bars that were happening the whole 1st half. Refs reward aggression.

Nice adjustment playing more uptempo and UCLA is struggling to adjust to it. Defense has been good all game, hopefully they keep it up. Very similar to the USC game, hopefully leads to the same result.

I think that's the first time this year that we've gotten a basket under the hoop off an inbound play.

Odukale is very good at bringing the ball up against the full court press. Not a point guard but he is good at that.
Just saw your post after making mine. That's funny. He's decisive and looks like a veteran player.
