This just in: Mike Connors aka Krekor Ohanian, is not suiting up for the Bruins tonight.

It's a little known fact he was an outstanding basketball player and played on John Wooden's first squad at UCLA.

The impromptu perfect was an absolute riot. Will never forget it.
 

That Jabbar guy was pretty good too. And some other big center named Walton, or something like that.....

Trying to speak it into existence? If they get to 9-10 wins and still fire Ben, Marcus Fuller, Jim Souhan, Jason DeRusha and company might riot outside Coyle's office.

Let them protest. It’s a free country. It doesn’t mean they get what they want.
 



UCLA is #1 at causing turnovers in the country - when they don't get a turnover, offenses shoot relatively well against them. If MN can take care of the ball and hit a fair number of 3s, it could get interesting. I am a little concerned about their bigs, however - the 7'3" dude might feast.

Mara only scores about 5 points per game in somewhat limited minutes (under 13/game). Which probably means he goes off for a career high tonight.

More surprising to my is that Skyy Clark is only their 5th leading scorer at just under 8 ppg.

Mara played a lot more - and productively - for a stretch (pun intended) of about 5 games starting at the end of January, but less lately. When he’s in, he’s generally very high usage.
 


wisconsin/Illinois tip pushed back to 7:45 because UConn/Nova is going over the fucking stupid 2 hour allotment the networks give.

We follow wisconsin on FS1, so we’ll either get pushed, or more likely miss a bunch of the first half…but I’m sure they’ll stream it on the fox app…f that too.
