***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT PURDUE, TWO UNDEFEATED BT TEAMS, SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Looks like the Real Purdue showed up for the 2nd half on offense and their defense has been much better of not losing track of the Minnesota cutters in the 2nd half so far. Ouch! They look more like a top 5 team and we look more like the physically outmanned team that we are. Hope we can make a recovery.

I think I've figured out what had to give in this battle between two undefeated BT teams. Uff da.

This is embarrassing. Going to be a lot of road games like this the rest of the way.
Maybe eek out a couple more home wins.

29-2 run in the 2nd half. I don't think I have witnessed a stretch like that- even from the Gophers.
Ouch. Purdue is 12-15 in the half

The refs are letting Purdue get away with murder....I realize it wouldn't mater, but the big guy can literally stick out an arm to hold us off on rebounds and Grove will get called for a foul.

And Smith having one personal foul with all the slapping and pushing he does? Ridiculous.

And I know I'm being pissy but when can I guy get the ball at half court with the whistles blowing and go in and dunk (attempt) to dunk the ball without a T or at least a delay of game warning???

Nothing like Big Ten officials joining the fun when a blue blood gets on a roll at home—might as well don Purdue jerseys—it’s been happening for decades.

The 1st half gives me hope we will stay in most games and win a few. The 2nd half shows that top 4 in the B1G are on another planet this year, so we will have a few more of these against Michigan, MSU, Illinois etc.

I hope Valhoila is back for the next B1G game. If he's not, Niko has to stop being stubborn and play Turner some.

I get it with Turner, he gets lost on defense at times. But you physically have zero shot with Grove in there. Turner at least is a big body on the boards and setting screens.
Grove may be a player at some point but he is 20 pounds of muscle away from that.

Whatever the case, there was a huge talent gap between the two teams and I still like what we were able to accomplish in the first half.
