Konate always brings the ball down so low when he rebounds. The dude's 6-11 with a huge wingspan - he needs to hold it high so he doesn't get stripped constantly.

Curry must lather his hands in Crisco before every game. I've seen too many rebounds and passes slip right through his hands.
 

Pitino has to stop pulling guys with two fouls in the 1st half. Taking Lynch out changed the game. No use saving him if you're going to be down 10 with 10 minutes left.
 




I wish Pitino would work the refs more.
 


Really couldn't have asked for a better first half. Here's to hoping the second half is similar and not like the MSU game.

Lynch fouls a lot. Have to sit him or he may have already fouled out.
 

Jacking 3s is not Murph's game yet he continues to launch them.
 

Brutal start to the half again. Whatever Pitino is doing to adjust isn't working. Ballgame.
 

Sure feels like this will end up a Purdue 12-14 point win.

He made the 1st one. It's like Tom Kelly said about utility infielders hitting HR's. He hated it because they thought they could do it all the time.

Love Murphy but him shootings 3's is not our best option. We need Amir to start slashing and Lynch to not reach for the stupid fouls.
 


Murphy cannot be a volume shooter for this team to do well. He needs to be a complimentary player taking high percentage shots and wreaking havoc in the glass.
 


Why is Pitino completely incapable of calling a timeout to stop the opponents momentum until they have the lead?

Let's make some FT's and continue to crash the boards. On offense we need to get back to driving the lane...our outside shooting is horrible.
 

Got to figure out how to score inside. Throwing up 3s early in the shot clock with little ball movement is the way we're going to lose by 15.
 


Listening to the Purdue feed on Xm. Color man mentioned that Murphy's uncle, Kevin, used to play for the Gophers. Pbp man didn't remember him...made sense, since it was Lynch. Couple minutes later Richard Coffey was mentioned and the Pbp man didn't remember him either.
 

They really need Hurt to find his 3 point shot and give them a threat out there. When Springs is off they have no outside game aside from Mason.
 


When Izzo said we needed to learn how to close out games, was he talking about the last 20 minutes?
 

It appears our strategy in the 2nd half is to take as bad of shots as possible.
