I take back everything I never said about him.I was so glad you and the others got to hear Coach Johnson. He did a great job coaching.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a phantom foul called before in college hoops! That was an air ball. Everyone carries the ball. On the air ball, the missed call lead to nothing, on the block it lead to the gophers win…big difference.
The rest of the world doesn't care about the calls that go against us, I'm not going to fret about the ones that go our way.Last five minutes, 0/3 FG and 6/11 FT. Their defense bailed them out with some help from the refs.
Cooper got the rebound so would have likely got layup or got fouls with basically no time left. Ohio st was benificiary of calls earlier in game so what is your point.Last five minutes, 0/3 FG and 6/11 FT. Their defense bailed them out with some help from the refs.
I love when posters like this tell on themselves after a big win. “Quick, I have to remind everyone that this team isn’t that good!” You’d rather be negative than enjoy a well-fought win.All I’m saying is they aren’t that great and we played as hot as can be and got lucky to survive. That was c a clean block. I’m not arguing with anyone, just pointing out it’s not a great win as this isn’t a great team in OSU and they will probably be 8th in the B10
The fact that we aren't that good should make tonight even more fun. If you have a really good team, I get being ho-hum when you beat a bottom dweller.I love when posters like this tell on themselves after a big win. “Quick, I have to remind everyone that this team isn’t that good!” You’d rather be negative than enjoy a well-fought win.

I give credit to Jim Jackson, an Ohio St guy, for being the guy to change the discussion over to MN and what we did well.FS1 post game is throwing the BIG Officials under the bus. They saw what we see ever game in this league.
He’s literally named Wet Blanket Guy. True to his bit.I love when posters like this tell on themselves after a big win. “Quick, I have to remind everyone that this team isn’t that good!” You’d rather be negative than enjoy a well-fought win.
I had a ton of fun watching this game. Maybe they’ll get hot now, or maybe they’ll lose out. Who knows? But tonight was good, just enjoy it.
Staying true to the monikerWhy are you even watching the Gophers if you can't even be happy about a win? Your consistent negativity, even in a win, is pretty telling...
If it’s purely a bit then I kinda respect the dedicationHe’s literally named Wet Blanket Guy. True to his bit.

During the second half I didn't mind so much. However, there are better ways to organize the screen so the game isn't shrunk so much. That's my biggest gripe. I can't imagine people who had to watch that on a smaller TV or a tablet or phone or something. And apparently I’m in the minority because I enjoyed the broadcast. Something different and cool to hear the coaches.
Gimme a break. Not a great win? Beat a team going to the dance on the road! Everyone talking about this is the worst team ever and not gonna win a conference game and this is the only thing you can come up with? Yeah we aren't a great team. Give credit when credit is due. Played great tonight. All I’m saying is they aren’t that great and we played as hot as can be and got lucky to survive. That was c a clean block. D O U C H EI don’t think anyone after watching this game would look at OSU and say they are a great team. No speed at guards (they can’t even penetrate against our lack of speed, which is a well known issue). Don’t really shoot threes (12 total shot). No elite bigs…
What are they top tier at?
They should make this a paid option for every game…extra revenue streams for the schools.During the second half I didn't mind so much. Uh, they were the top offensive team in the country until they ran into the Gopher Machine.D O U C H E

Stop playing chess when CBJ apologists are playing checkers! As a fan, I would hate to be forced to watch a winning program sooner than 4 or 5 years down the road
Good post. I said before but the last 3 games have been marked improvement. The free throws are tough, when you aren't a great team little things like that need to be better. Again give them credit they fought through the missed FT to get a nice win. Any win in Columbus is good.I see a team that is continuing to improve and learning how to play together. I also saw a team committed to playing good team defense and diving for loose balls. That was a blast seeing and hearing the coaches during breaks. Regardless of what some posters want to say, I thought Johnson was coaching his ass off.
My biggest complaint - for the love of all that is sacred, every player must shoot 100 free throws minimum per day for the rest of the season. If any player doesn't get at least 70%, shoot another 100. It is maddening that they shoot so poorly as a team.
Wet blanket is the perfect name for you. You’re fun to laugh at. Thank youThat was an air ball. Everyone carries the ball. On the air ball, the missed call lead to nothing, on the block it lead to the gophers win…big difference.
They FOR SURE made that up, completely. They can't call a foul on a review, so they essentially called a foul by substituting an improper out-of-bounds call. That's the kind of thing that would get protested if it were a baseball game, and the protest would be upheld. It was an intentional and willful circumvention of the rules. What is the purpose of replay if you are just going to make shiiiiit up. Enforce the rules...don't make your own rules up.
Yes!! Why didn't they talk about THAT?!Cooper got the rebound and would have had a great chance to score with no foul
Just finished watching the game...I stood for a lot of the 2nd half. What a he'll of a game..nothing but positive tonight. Shutting down OSU high powered offense while making clutch free throws.
This has to be a big boost for the team!
