***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT NORTHWESTERN IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I absolutely love this team and coach. Are we NCAA bound, not likely. Are we going to finish in the top half of the league? Probably not. But missing 3 key guys, we play a fun brand of basketball, we pass well, the coach maximizes guys who are limited in some ways. Excited for the future!! Good win
You get more out of a shorter rotation with an offense like this instead of "go make offense for yourself" ball

I have to admit Reynolds had a great overall game today. Let’s hope that carries over to Tuesday’s game against Iowa. If he does and the rest of the team plays like they did today we have a chance against the Hawks. I love how they never gave up today.

It really was a terrific road win, as is any in the BigTen! Was great to see a Gopher team make FTs down the stretch.
A few too many turnovers, and Langston gathered himself on D after getting schooled by Martinelli in first half to record a really solid game. Its becoming clear that Asuma has trouble getting to the rim through contact. MN needs him to never get stuck giving up his dribble down near the box. Better to dribble thru baseline and keep working the ball around. JCJ commits too many useless fouls. (He got hosed by ref on sideline near end of game! No travel.) Durkin should be able to get more open looks. Niko will get them to learn even though it was a W. Great job! Looking forward to 3 straight home games.
