I wouldn't say nowhere else or even nowhere else in the Big Ten. Hoiberg had 7 wins in each of his first two seasons at Nebraska. For his third season, they finished 10-22. They finished 16-16 in his 4th year. He got a 5th year and finally delivered with a fine season.
Pat Chambers didn't have a winning season until his 4th year at Penn State and that was only 18-16 (they won two games in the Big Ten tournament). Steve Pikiell's first three seasons at Rutgers were losing.
Stop feeling like such a victim because you're a Gopher fan. We're not alone in college basketball fan frustration and you're not trapped in a situation where you have no control. This is a matter of personal choice.
