Why are we playing so soft on 4th and short? I don't get some of the calls Sawvel makes sometimes. That was going to be easy no matter what they called there.
 



Great job mixing it up on the first drive. Now we're so predictable again.
 

Are we just gonna run it into a stacked box all night?
 

Our OL is getting pushed back on running downs. Doesn't bode well going forward. But man, Mitch is locked in...very encouraging. Fun game so far.

EDIT: LOL...forget what I said about Mitch. That 3rd down throw was baffling.
 

Jeez. Got to be able to run better, or Mitch is going to wind up throwing the ball 50 times tonight.
 






Mitch looked at Carter all the way that time. Should have been an INT.

We come out unpredictable, good balance between run, run to the outside and pass, then
fall back to our Jay Limegrover M.O., become super predictable and rutm a lot to no avail.

Nebraska will slowly bring their backers and dbs more into the tackle box and shut us down
the rest of the game...
 


What happened to those quick out passes in the first drive? Defense take it away? How about a run to the outside? We are gonna have to get creative here.
 

For a 5th yr sr there sure are a lot of times where he just doesn't know where to throw the ball.

Keep taking shots downfield. Run outside. The assorted creens, draws, dumps, wheels, slants. Do we have any pick plays.
