The lack of effort on the court is alarming. Obviously some of that is on the coach, but you'd think individual pride would set in at some point. I'd like Pitino to scrap the multiple defenses in one game stuff and just stick in a basic man to man.

If there is another thing to be disappointed about beyond the effort and result it is that Kevin Dorsey had another poor game.
 

I liked the change to the starting lineup and I think that lineup actually held the lead until one of the seniors came in and then things went downhill quick. Nobody was very good tonight for the Gophers but I thought Morris, King, and Buggs played the worst and at least King played hard and showed some effort I don't know if that could be said of the other 2. McBrayer, Dorsey, and Murphy did some good things although I think Murphy had some turnovers he'd like back trying to feed the ball to Konate and Konate didn't do much to help Murphy out on them. Hopefully we see a better effort and execution Saturday against a pretty good Indiana team.
 

Team is not good. Pitino will keep working hard. We will win a few surprise games and the team will show some improvement. I have faith. However I also believe they will be much better next year. And Pitino should get another year

Exactly my thinking before tonight's game. Lost that hope.

We're #194 right behind Wagner. Still clinging to the 1's. We lost to #192 Nebraska by 25 in a nail biter. Next up #55 Indiana.

FWIW Texas Tech is still #14.

Agree the effort is what is by the far the most frustrating thing right now. It's like no one wants to be out there.

I'm with you except I will be pleasantly surprised if the Gophers have a conference win this year. Next year though!
