What a f**king joke defense. Now we can f**king run the ball and go into half with our tails between our legs.
 



It's hard not to call foul on these refs... That one holding call I was talking about... u can see him holding the gopher, and then pulling him down and landing on him. That was so blatant... and he was right behind the QB chasing him. How can any of the refs miss that? It seems pretty convenient that all the calls are going OSU, IOWA, and MICHIGAN's way.
 

Gophs need the hockey team to teach them about the finer points of defense. End of 2nd period and Mn is shutting out Mn St. 2-0.

The same defense that showed up in the Nebraska game has reappeared. Can also be translated as playing against a mobile QB.

No. The defense is bad. The refs are bad. Some blatant holding calls being missed. Some terrible tackling going on as well.
 


If the defense doesn't wake up at halftime, just get on the bus and leave. They were totally dominated that half. 97 yard drive right before half. Way to step up and make some plays guys! Embarrassing!

Maybe, maybe not. It would've backed them up, what, 4 yards? Who knows what happens the next play. It's the next 85 yards of the drive to complain about IMO.

Garbage?! Not sure what game ur watching. Any qb could look great with that much time due to his o-line holding every other play.

One legit criticism might be running the ball and risking injury/fumble instead of just taking a knee if we weren't even gonna try to score. But maybe the staff would have gone for points if Brooks had broken off a 40 yard run or something on that play.
 

College football is so fixed. At least cbb isn't like that

That's a legit comment, but how many yards up the middle did they reasonably expect to get? I wish they would have gone for it. It seems like we're wishy washy in these circumstances. If your gonna go, go. If not, just kneel on it.

Giving Iowa a 10 yard loss instead of a 25 yard gain isn't insignificant. We do have to tackle better though.

Yeah I can definitely agree there. The run play probably just isn't worth running.
