It seems like the Santoso fakes himself out with all the shifts. Just kick the ball and give yourself a chance!
 



Give me the old fashion "drive the ball in to the ground" kick and take your chances on it bouncing up high, etc.
 


Guys, I honestly think we are in great shape with Claeys... we were in all three games with top 20 teams. (two on the road, and one at home that we probably should have won). This whole year has been a disaster in terms of injuries, but wow, the offense has certainly showed it's true self. I love what Kill did, but I think it's becoming more and more evident that Coach Kill holds the offense back a lot. Limegrover's free reign without Kill watching over him, he's calling good games.

Without terrible officiating... we may have even won, despite the bad defensive play.
 

Beat Illinois and Wisconsin and I'll bury every demon from this season. Promise.
 



Crap...poor Floyd. We need to get him back where he belongs.
 



I hope the team can somehow manage to take all their aggression out on one Wesley Lunt.
 



I honestly looked at the depth chart on Thursday and thought they had no shot. Matt Leidner, Chad Fahning and Jered Weyler on the OL two deeps. Claeys is the right guy. Be happy he's signed up. There's a handful of better jobs open right now.

Completely agree. Finish out with two wins and I will be happy with this season. Some people have forgotten that Gophers used to get slammed against top 25 teams and were out of it by the end of the first quarter. Yes we have lost the last three games, but the team did not quit and made it a game for all four quarters.
 

It's clear this team is building toward something good next year - and maybe even running the rest of the table this year. Return to better health, everybody gets a little better, freshman running back turns sophomore. I'm pretty excited, these close heartbreakers notwithstanding.

I really hope Carter turns out to be the real deal. I am getting gun shy with some of the last top MN recruits who come here and don't live up to expectations. I am really pulling for him

Boys and girls. I'm looking forward to a convincing W against Illinois. A great build-up to the game against 'Sconnie. And the maroon and gold rushing the sidelines and grabbing the axe! Then, a low tier bowl game and serious momentum going into next season. This WILL happen.

Guy behind us made 3 or 4 "must be the gopher fans farting" jokes during the game. Must be a thing down here. Them and the 8 year olds probably love it.
 

We were in section 220. A bunch of Iowa students thought 220 was the student section, and wouldn't leave. Eventually security got them out of our section. I don't mind people standing, but they were standing on the benches, which meant if I wanted to see, I had to stand on the bench too, and it was pretty unstable, and difficult to maintain balance. It was much better once our section was our section again.
