We have had issues with not being able to get a stop on 3rd down all year. What's up with that!?
 

Mitch not seeing open receivers and the defense giving up multiple 3rd and longs, NOT a good way to start.
 



Calls aside, there's no excuse for giving up 3rd and 15

D-line is doing their job putting Iowa in 3rd and long. DBs can't make a stop.

D line also can't get any pressure though. Not necessarily their fault, but maybe we should send a blitz every once in a while

Mitch will start chucking the ball downfield on this drive.
 

Obviously 3rd down killing us. It ain't looking good right now, but I take a little solace in the fact they didn't rip off huge chunks...they needed to convert several difficult 3rd downs. That ain't easy. Hopefully the O gives our D a little rest here and we pick it up on 3rd down. Let's go!
 

Not going to give up so easily. We got them into multiple third downs which is a good sign. They are running a pre-planned set of plays so let's see how they fare when we get into the later part of the game.

Oh I am too, but we just gave up like 4-5 3rd and long, enduring 17 plays and our
offense will likely 3-out and punt, defense back out there to get run down.
