There’s a reason why he wasn’t recruited harder.

He can improve his agility and with experience he’ll get rid of the ball sooner.
This is his 8th start.

It's recruiting. The Gophers are playing a freshman at QB and have only one running back - Taylor. When he's out they can't run and they can't throw to the running backs. The Gophers just don't have the talent to play in an 18-team league. If they had divisions - and it's criminal that they don't - the Gophers would look better, though this game is one of the worst performances in many years. PJ now 1-8 against Iowa.
