***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT #1 RANKED OHIO STATE BUCKEYES IN-GAME THREAD***

That was the very definition of targeting. The fix is in apparently.

I actually agree with the call, but I have a feeling it wouldn't have been overturned if the game was being played here.

I'm confused. I didn't think you could reverse penalties. Or is this because there was the chance a player would get ejected?

Gotta get ohio f ¥$ K me State on the scoreboard

His helmet sure bent back for not getting hit in the head or neck area.

The explanation was proposterous. HOW WAS THE HIT NOT TO THE HEAD OR NECK? It was obvious. Just a completely biased call to the #3 team at home.

Never seen that in college before, overturn an intentional foul?? Guess AbC/ESPN/mothership couldn't have a 0-0 halftime result

By rule I think it was targeting. Pretty obvious to me the contact was at the head and neck area. But whatever.

Right. Whatever, because we all know the refs were going to ensure an OSU W today. That's what you mean by "But whatever," right?

Delany called and said they needed to help the #1 team in the nation or else.

There's no debate by the rule. Forcible contact to the head/neck area. He led with the crown of the helmet right under Leidner's chin. People can debate the rule, but it was completely misapplied there.

Looked pretty clear to me (and ABC's expert) the hit was to the head. But the Big Ten headquarters overruled another one. Especially since Michigan State is losing. Total B S!!

His head was the first thing that moved

So they guys in the replay booth are cheaters....got it....They made the right call, it was a hard shot but it wasn't targeting.

Yes. If the chin is part of the head or neck, is targeting. Just get rid of the rule of you aren't going to have it stand up when it happens.

If your going to reverse it don't call it. So frustrating.

That's exactly why the officiating sucks. The officials on the field don't know what they're calling or missing. Too many eyes looking at it..by nature, the on-field official is bound to be gun shy and/or confused.

Not surprised the announcers aren't touching that one either.

So you agree there was no contact to the head and neck area? Really?

And some of you think us tinfoil hat wearers are so cray cray.....
