This team is so frustrating to watch. They can look great one drive and be absolutely pathetic the next (both offense and defense). Because they are so inconsistent they will always have a very hard time beating the good teams.

Looks like Claeys' designated clock management guy was off taking a dump.
 


Pretty fitting ending. We need to score twice. I don't care if the receivers down field are triple covered. Yet we throw it five yards down field.
 

And he takes a sack and then throws a 5 yard out when we needed 6. Unbelievable.
 



Frustrating game to say the least.

I strongly believe we can beat Iowa, though. And that would be a top 10 win.
 

I hate when teams run plays short of the first down marker. May have been a freshman mistake by Still but have to know where the first down line is.
 

After the last two weeks I really think Leidner has no clue when the clock stops and starts.
 

Nice fight but it'd be nice to score before the 4th quarter.

Anyone remember Kordell Stewart throwing curls against Mich? How about Doug Flutie. Did he throw curls?

Not sure why, but Urban Meyer always comes off as a smug AHole in post game interviews.

The team we played in the Citrus Bowl (Missouri) is 4-5 just like us. I find that somewhat interesting.
 

Gophers lose 28-14 on the f-ing road to the #3 team in the nation. Including a pick 6 that could have easily been called back and questionable no call on offensive pass interference on an OSU touchdown. May seem like homer whining, but those are two controversial scoring plays. D played great. OSU had a bye week with two full weeks to prepare. I'll take that all day long. And OSU school song sucks.

To be fair, it appears the refs don't know either as they started the clock after an incompletion.
 

Folks are blaming Mitch. Gotta love it.

Yeah but they had a happy ending to last season. So that makes it more tolerable.
 

I am sort of glad Ohio State scored late so there wouldn't be some sort of false narrative about this game. The Gophers sat on the ball before halftime and then somehow decided to punt facing a 4th and 9 down two touchdowns with 6 and change left in the 4th quarter. You just can't make clearly wrong decisions like this and win football games.

It looked like on the delay of game that for some reason they couldn't get the play in. Interesting to hear what really happened there.

D played well enough to win. That's for sure. Just wish we had an offense that couple compliment that defense. But I might as well wish we had a Coach who could find us a top 10 class...
