Was walking home from the store with my game provisions, I spied a semi-literate looking gent wearing a Hawkeye on his shirt. As I walked past I thrust my Gopher in his way and gave him a Go Gophers.

He kept walking his direction and then yelled, good one, good luck and I returned his pleasantries.

I’ve lived in NYC for 25 years and can count on one hand the times I’ve seen Hawkeye garb; lots of Wisconsin and Michigan fans, on my other hands/feet.
