WOW WOW WOW...HERE WE FN GO!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a BIG FN GAME!!! Yes, this is a 1 game Iowa Championship Season, but it's so much more. While he won't admit to believing in momentum, this game will create significant momentum for the rest of the season. We haven't beat Iowa 2 games in a row since 2010-2011. This Iowa team is so beatable, and now is the time to do it.

A win and we can recalibrate our expectations. A loss and I fear 2-4 start and Fleck touting "it's on me" and "failure is growth" lines.

We got national TV, we got a day of tailgating, we got a Maroon Out, we got Floyd on our sidelines, we got Koi, we got Ski-U-Max slinging, we got backyard football offense, we got Henderson flying around, we got Dragan booting bombs, we got a former elementary school teacher whom everyone said was too small leading our squad, we got a consistently rocking student section, we got Duck Duck beer, we got Goldy fn Gopher, we got chicks wearing gopheralls, we got an understanding of fair catch signals on our side, we got Gopher fans who don't pump strangers in stadium bathrooms on our side, we got DT calling the games on radio and DT running wild in the backfield, we got a F.A.M.I.L.Y. we got Ski-U-Mah!!

Let's do our part Gopher fans!!! Let's win the tailgate, let's win the Maroon Out, let's win the pre-game noise battle, let's win this game!!!!

Ski-U-Max slinging = Next level Stan💪
 

I think Iowa fans are a little more jacked than normal this year as well. Eyes on B1G podcast host and Iowa super fan Jeffrey the Greek (who lives in the twin cities 😂) put on his homer goggles went on, and on, and on about how yeah, technically per the rulebook, “letter of the law” the invalid fair catch call was correct but since it was a big moment at the end of the game, and it wasn’t immediately called, and it was a great return by Dejean, and it resulted in a score it shouldn’t have been called and this should be obvious to everyone.

I like Jeffrey the Greek, but c’mon man. Anyway, this year has a little more edge to it.

(there's an app that people follow for Packer games that tracks police calls to Lambeau. It would be interesting to have something like that for Saturday's game to see how wacky the Iowa fans get.)

I almost went to the game but instead just got home from the store with eating goodies for the game on NBC tonight -- sold out.

No confirmation, but I heard he hasn't practiced as well. Doesn't look good.
 

Walley out as expected, but so is Gousby which came out of left field AFAIK. Luckily Darius Green made his season debut last week, so he’ll step in at S. Still a blow to the depth on the back end.
