Coming off 3 straight loses, what better opportunity than to turn the season around with a win over Indiana and a win at #1 Purdue in consecutive games! But to get that win streak started, we have to first take care of business at home vs #22 and 7-0 Indiana.

We are wounded, our egos are bruised and our confidence can't be high. The magic of The Barn will bring a big win or two this season, that I'm hopeful of. Tonight would be a great time for it to happen.

GET 'ER DONE MEDVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the momentum from the 2nd half rally against Santa Clara can have some carry-over!

Sadly, we will have to try slow the tempo and pray Indiana can't make 3 point shots while we get to every defensive rebound. Guard the paint and don't turn the ball over.

This game will be similar to the 1980 USA hockey team against the Soviet Union. The question is...which game, the one at Lake Placid or the one at Madison Square Garden?

Dear Parker Fox, it is ok to say Ski U Mah when you discuss the gophers on kfan. That stupid laughing hockey guy says ‘Go Huthkeethees’.

Wondering if this our first Big Ten home opener against Indiana since the epochal 1972 win. I remember the Strib sports headline was something like: “19191 see Gophers upset Hoosiers”. The capacity of Williams Arena was about 18,000 in the early 1970s. I’ve always wondered where did everyone sit for the game? There must have been a large walk-up sale. My parents were at the game. They brought me the program which years later I had autographed by the team members who present for one of the anniversaries (2012?). I was in third grade and the game sparked a life-long passion for Williams Arena and Gopher basketball.
