***OFFICIAL GOPHERS VS ST GEORGIA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Interior defense is a huge problem. If Eliason is going to be in the game, he needs to show up on defense.

Not as worried about EE's defense as I am about Mo's who looks like he's afraid to block a shot. EE's done a great job of at least contesting shots in and around the paint.

Missed free throw and bunnies. This shat again! Here comes Georgia.

Eliason basically just walked out of rebounding position right there. Where the f was he going?!?

You're completely wrong. Its not what we wanted, but w/o McNeil we'll need him to be able to play. An injury would make him a necessity, so I like seeing him get some time on the court in a real game.

Haha that's funny!

Hollins is just trying to do too much right now

Konate is going to get his a@@ chewed out for not boxing his man out on that rebound.

This team is really bad in the halfcourt set. Doesn't bode well for the B10 season

The good is that we are up at half behind some very good perimeter shooting and some very good perimeter defense as the result of speeding up Georgia on the perimeter. The bad is that the Gophers failed to take advantage of being sent to the free throw line and struggled to defend the paint when Georgia was able to get inside.

I am officially concerned about Andre Hollins. If he's not the type of guy that B1G defenses have to help on, it's tough to see how this team meets expectations. This is the second game in a row he's looked like a mediocre (and that's being kind) guard who can't beat man to man defense and is prone to turning it over.

My other concern is where are the easy baskets going to come from? We are so dependent on Mathieu getting in the lane and dishing to a big for our easy buckets. Need more guys to show an ability to get in the paint and to score when they get there.

We are going to have to suffer through the fact that we have no athleticism underneath. Walker has good inside moves and will do some damage but he will also have to recognize the double team when in comes. If we get easy buckets it will be in transition. Going forward we have to hope the one or more of Martin, Gaston, or Konate develop into something on the boards and near the bucket. Other teams go right over the top of us.

Really good points with this team. Andre just looks slow and not able to protect the ball. What's up with that? Thinking about graduating and heading to Europe with Rachel? I don't get it either.

The guy that has to do more is Morris. He needs to handle the ball more and also do a much better job rebounding.
