***OFFICIAL GOPHERS VS PURDUE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Said it before, i'll say it one more time. This game is gonna do more for us in the long run, because we came from behind. Way to go Gophs!

Defense completely redeemed themselves in the second half! Ski-U-Mah!

Great 2nd half adjustments by Claeys once again, they only gave up 7 points in the 2nd half.

outscored them 19-7 in the second half & it would be more but Kill shows mercy...

Ok... Laster won't be joining Dancing with the Stars any time soon. LOL

Definitely one of the more entertaining games i've seen ina while

WOW!!! WHAT A WIN!!!

I am taking my puppy Tracker out for some potty time and free time.

I am just hoping we can win next week, and then beat Iowa to go 5-0 in Big Ten. At that point you can shoot me and have me stuffed so that I can stay in that moment forever.

I don't know what was more aggravating

1.our D in the first half
2.the crapazz BT refs
3.watching this game on the BTN feed on my iPad. The resolution in the 4th quarter was like a Roman mosaic. With a bunch of tiles missing

Still glad we won. Now I'm going out wine tasting in Oregon

Shades of Indiana last year. Good to see this team overcome some adversity (even if it was self-inflicted).

Also, we broke that stupid streak!

Wow wow wow! Redemption across the board - the defense comes up huge after having a rough game, and Santoso more than redeemed himself! Very impressive comeback win!

What a game!!!!!

"Good teams find a way to win."

This is the kind of game we used to find a way to lose. I was in full expectation-resetting mode from experiencing too many losses like this could have been.

What a difference this coaching staff has made.

Even with the bad 1st half I told the people I was watching with at halftime the Gophers would win and the D would give up 10 or less in the 2nd half it just felt like the team couldn't play any worse then they did the 1st half. The 1st half was just a lot of mental mistakes from the D and some missed tackles both of which were taken care of at halftime for the most part. I thought Leidner threw the ball well for the most part even though he missed on the wide open Williams throw that we got lucky there was a penalty on but after some of the previous horrible calls we deserved it. Sanotso came through with the big kick and there was no question in my mind when they lined up that he would have the distance was just worried about the accuracy but he nailed it. Some questionable play calling from the Gophers didn't like the QB boot and then settling for the field goal at the 2 I would have preferred 2 dives straight ahead with Cobb but overall seemed like a good gameplan for the most part. The fake extra point was designed well looked like Lauer just missed his block. Definitely a bad day for the refs one of the calls I found most confusing was on the extra point on the wing guy for not being on the line even though he is supposed to line up off the line.

First bowl eligible team in the bigten this year

Who would have thunk it huh? Keep working hard boys, keep staying focused, keep it up in the classroom, let your families, friends, classmates know you love them for supporting you, keep building brick by brick. Ski-U-Mah!

That was just the announcers being stupid. The call was on Pirsig I believe, not Goodger. The ref didn't call it on #83 so not sure why the announcers were focusing on him.

By rule, it was probably the right call, you just don't see it called a lot. But they did call it on both teams.

That would make more sense although usually it isn't called unless it is blatantly obvious and neither of those seemed that obvious but with the crew that we had reffing today I guess that shouldn't be surprising.

I want to see comments from the BT (not likely) regarding the bad call on the fumble recovery near the goal... He took two steps with the ball before the ball came out. Terrible call even after the review which made that bad call even more blatant. The rules need to be changed - it was obvious it was a catch and a fumble. Let's see if there's a comment from the BT.
