Oh I agree, there's no excuse. For some reason fans thought Jerry Kill was better. Mike Riley has a long track record and was an NFL coach and courted by USC multiple times for a reason.
 


I think this is a step back year. We do have a lot of young players which people forget. Our young players are good, just inexperienced and do make mistakes.

Do you seriously believe this? On D we've gone from BBC, Travis, Poock, and Campbell (all possible NFL players) to Shenault, Ayinde, Williams, and Celestin. I believe Keith also went out today, as I've seen a lot of Stelter. What would you have done differently today?
 

17 total yards on offense for the quarter and our defense can't stop anything. Nice halftime adjustments coaches, nice execution and heart players.
 

Maybe after Decker retires he can come back and coach our team??

Enough with the injuries crap. Every team deals with them. We are totally being out coached today!
 


Mike Riley is an excellent coach. Nebraska pulled off a coup getting him. He will get them back to where they were under Osborne.
I still feel lucky to have Kill though...in spite of today.

Agreed but we're also not getting them most out of them either. It's clear when we we go up against superior staffs.

We're not going bowling this year. Too much youth, too many injuries, not
enough coaching.
 

I'm wondering if Vegas will run a wager on how few pts we'll score against Michigan... Halloween is gonna be bru-tal

Hey, take heart! This is a reflection of who we are. A top third offense and top third defense in B1G. We've got too many injuries and can't compete against another good team that's healthier or better. We're getting better each year and have a very good bunch of red shirts this year and good team coming in. Get healthy for Mich!
 

The only question remaining: Will Nebraska come to get the chair?
 

Can't say there is any excitement left on the season for me. Going to the Michigan game will just be for the fun of dressing up in costume and being rowdy.
 

Nebraska has more talent. Just like the bulletin board said.
