Understandable. But we beat Illinois & lose to Iowa & it's same old Gophers. This is something different. Look how they responded. This is NOT the Gophers of old. That in itself gives me confidence in the direction & future of the program & makes minor current setbacks meaningless. The bigger picture is becoming clear...

Agreed. This season is a success in my books. We may not win out but I feel good knowing we can compete when we show up.

57 Williams looks like a real player. Lots of good young players on defense. Elmore and Richardson have both played well today also.

This has been one of the singular most pleasurable Gopher games I've ever watched, in any sport.
 

The hate from the south will officially be churning on the sloppy bus ride home

My first trip to TCF since the Halloween game vs tOSU 5 yrs ago. Well worth the trip. The cold wind didn't faze me one bit seeing I was making first down motions all game to keep me warm. Not to mention MINNESOTA chants.

Ps when did the PA announcer start yelling WOOO after the first down chant?

This is the Leidner we've heard about all year. If he'd been around all year we'd be in the top 10.

Beth Gowins and Joey Idiot are the WORST. How about hiring a spotter for a major telecast. Tell Joey the pig isn't real because he'd be dead by now. And stop talking about other teams during our game. They never mentioned Cole Banham's 2 carries. They didn't see Marcus Jones' block of the year on the Hogeye punt. They didn't notice Williams starting at MLB. I wouldn't hire them to do a high school game

They didn't notice Everett Williams crushing shot on Iowa's QB on the last drive. He absolutely laid him out. They didn't even show a replay.

I was trying to show my friend who was with me that play and they didn't show the replay :( What a hit though.
