Gophers vs Furman is less than 23 hours away. Clem's assistant and ace recruiter Larry Davis left the U to coach Furman. They are now coached by former U alum and Monson assistant, Niko Medved. In spite of the connections, we should drill these guys and Gaston some PT. GET 'ER DONE PITINO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be my first game of the season that I can attend. I'm hoping all the young guys get a lot of playingtime.

Go Gophers

joey king dominating early. he has 11 of our 17 points.

The usual ESPN3 crew: Matvick & Drew.

Homer said free throws can be the difference between winning and losing in the big ten. I just don't know what to think anymore.

YOu have jinxed us...leave the barn now! (just kidding) We are playing badly!

This is just hard to watch. Really hope we aren't the next B1G team to fall victim to a big upset...

i'm not even mad. they are hitting ridiculous shot after ridiculous shot in the second half. everything is being contested well

Gophers down 2 with 6 minutes left in the game...

I'm listening to Mike Grimm on the radio - so I'm not really sure what's going on.............

Furman can feel free to miss a 3 anytime now.

Gophers are just going back and forth with Furman here. Not thrilled about that. We seem to not understand that they've already made 12 threes against us, since they keep getting open looks there and are converting on them.

Nate Mason has saved the whole team's butts today....

If I haven't mentioned it before, I'll mention it now... I love Mason.

Hard to find much good to talk about when you let an awful Furman team take you to the wire. Win or lose, this is pretty darn disappointing.

Thank goodness we survived. But dang that was not fun to watch.

Are you kidding? It wasn't pretty, but I loved watching this game. Obviously it would have been better to blow them out, but I don't know how you can look at this game and not think that it was entertaining.

Went to the Capitals - Senators game instead of streaming this game on espn 3.. Would definitely appreciate a brief recap.. Who played well, who poorly, etc. I see King and Mason had the points. No Buggs in the box score?

Thanks in advance...

In honor of the Furman Paladins, a fantastic band to see live:

Homer Drew said at the beginning of the game that a home game right before the holiday is one of the toughest games. Players are thinking more about anything but the fame.

As a third party observer who just wants to see a good game, I would agree with you. As a fan who loves this team to death? There is little to be happy with about going wire to wire with Furman.

GH'ers complain if it's a blowout. GH'ers complain if it's close. Sheesh.

Furman shot really well from the outside, we didn't. Considering what has happened with other Big Ten teams lately, I'm not too upset over this. We found a way to win. Learn from it and move on.
