Good question. I watched a little of the NIU game last night and our passing scheme looks almost identical to their's. Not much over the middle with the WRs.
 


Cobb had a bunch of open field on that run, and of all places, he runs right into the only defender going after him.... Big run, but with good decision making, it could've been much bigger.
 


It's simply amazing how poorly our QBs throw the football. It has been Josh Freeman-esque out there through three quarters. What's really sad is that it's the primary reason the team is losing to a crummy Syracuse team.

Yep, I saw that too. If he had cut to the left, behind his blocker, he would have had a lot of open field. Instead, he runs around his blocker into the defender.
 

Gotta start getting the ball in Jones or Maye's hands on the speed motion read plays. Have to get our play makers the ball somehow.
