*** OFFICIAL GOPHERS-RICHMOND GAME THREAD ***

The Gopher half-court offense problems are very frustrating. Compare them to Northwestern's Princeton offense and see what can be accomplished with movement, precision and less talent. I hope Andre can facilitate a change.

Absolutely no excuse for all the lazy passes. Too many turn overs is bad.....too many lazy turnovers is unforgivable

If we get guard play like this the rest of the season we are at best NIT bound...I shutter to think what Duke's pressure defense will do

Wow....crazy. Need to pull it together or this will be a loss

Turnovers and Rebounds are the two key statistics that determine who wins a game. Thankfully the Gophers have an advantage in rebounding because clearly Richmond takes better care with the ball.

Turn overs. Never seen a team turn it over so much

Good to see Tubby take Coleman out of the game. He's been responsible for the last 3 turnovers.

Andre being way outplayed by Anthony so far. Needs to be able to make these open shots he's missing to realize our expectations of him. Anthony much quicker.

Nice to see Hollins get in rhythm. Still too much standing and watching the ballhandler on offense, however.

Great defense.

Feed Trevor again. He is a beast

I think we can say not only can Trevor and Rodney play together, it's our best front court combination.

Lol, I agree Mbakwe and Rodney is our most dynamic frontcourt but i'd still like to see more Big Mo. Also 18 turnovers again with 4 minutes remaining, that is unacceptable, especially if you're gonna score in the 60's, and not 80's. The defense has been pretty good though, it just seems like the turnovers are the Achilles Heel so far in this young season.

The "new and improved Coleman" is pretty much what he was last year. A bit too short to finish against quality inside players and turnover prone.

Now put them away! Don't let them back in it.

Trevor has certainly picked it up on both ends of the court. Very good to see.

Rodney still may not be a great shooter, but he as come light years since his freshman year.

Game turned when Austin started guarding Anthony.

Wow this was a frustrating game. Nice to see us pull together at the end. A win is a win. But we need to step up our play and cut down on the turnovers on Thursday.

Positives: Well balanced scoring. Very good defense. Significant advantage on the boards.

Negatives: Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers. Standing on offense led to some tough shots and ultimately added some of the turnovers we saw.

I might sound crazy, but I think this was exactly the type of game this team needed to go through. Lots of adversity in this game, and they really came together nicely in the last ten minutes.

I'd rather see them finish strong and carry that over to the Duke game, than get lax in the second half after leading by 20 at halftime.

Turnovers are concerning of course, but they really did a nice job at the end of the game.

Nice win!

I'd be willing to bet that Mbakwe is our starting center by the start of the Big Ten at the latest and against Duke at the earliest. I loved seeing Rodney and Mbakwe playing together.
