Even if they get no points, this has been a good drive to end the half...

I'll take a TD on a blown coverage. Get the ball to start the 2nd half and let's grind out a 80 yard 8+ minute drive and put Penn State up against a wall.
 


We looked inept on Offense just 4 games ago & now we look like Indiana-Lite... can beat you in the air & on the ground...
 


Nate Andrews from FSU long TD INT, was he a MN recruit at one time?
 


We're 7-10 on 3rd down, 2-2 on 4th down and a lot of those have been long distance. Pretty amazing. Nelson is playing unbelievably well.
 

1. I never really even dreamed that we might win more than 7 games this season - suddenly 9 wins seems almost within reach? Wow.

2. I really like Claeys humility in pointing out why their star WR has been mostly shut down (the success of their running game)

3. This game is far from over, but i don't feel nearly the same amount of apprehension about the lead as i did vs. Indiana.

4. My Gophers 38 Penn St 20 prediction is looking pretty good so far!!

I agree...Phillip is not yet getting the kudos he deserves either.

He would have been an amazing get. We got on him early. He played in the Bama All-Star game and did awesome. Left with a Bama offer, among others.

I admittely am a pessimist, but I think it will take 38 points to win this game...I know it sounds like a lot, but I think MN needs at least 2 tds in the 2nd half...
 

I like being up 14 at half.

But man are we soft up the middle this year.

He seems to get better with every play. Would prefer he didn't have to run so much (Aaron Rodgers).

Agreed. First team to 40 wins? Last week I said "first team to 43 wins" and was wrong (42-39 final). I'll be happy being wrong again if the Gophers D can step up.
