I hate bye weeks as it's too long in between games. The program has been through a lot recently and a nice road win would do wonders. Let's get after it!!!!!!!!!!

Finally its game day. A day where we can take some time to actually watch the team we care (obsess?) about. We have 3 wonderful hours where we have the chance to watch the product on the field and take a step back from worrying about who our coach is, who the starting quarterback will be, what type of terminal disease should recognized by players and coaches on the field, and all of the recruiting concerns. Today we get to watch football. Thank God.

This game is all about the pass rush. Can we sustain one and can we block Northwestern's? I think our weakest position top to bottom is DE so what do we do? Need a big game out of Claeys.

The last two weeks have made this game very important. We really need to see our team's best performance of the year today, especially with a couple of NU's biggest weapons out (or at least banged up if they do play).

In regards to the DE they need to prove they belong here and go make a play, that isn't on Claeys at this point it is up to the players to get it done on gameday. Even with the distractions we had two weeks to prepare so I would hope the gameplan is strong, we should be as ready as we will ever be for a game like this.

There are a lot of conditions that bode well for MN heading into this game. Bye week to prepare, good health overall no real key injuries on either side of the ball outside of losing BBC a few weeks ago, Northwestern is reeling some and dealing with some key injuries. I won't be shocked if Northwestern still comes out on top because I think they have a very talented team but with all the factors above leading into this game I would hope we can make it a battle at the very least. Will be very disappointing if we get blown out.

40 minutes to game time. Are Colter and Mark out?
