I can see us jumping as high as 15. Anything higher would be surprising to me. A lot of teams ahead of us had ugly losses. Creighton also got worked over by a bad Boise St. team.

- North Carolina State dropped 2 spots despite winning their only game at home by 2 points.

Oh, and for the week 3 rankings:
- Memphis dropped 2 spots despite winning both of their games at home

On, and for the week 2 rankings:
- Duke dropped 1 spot despite winning their only game by 19 at home

So, I hear what you are saying, but maintaining a good ranking requires more than just getting by.
