How can that be a no call on the Austin Hollins fast break shot? Huge collision and a guy laying on the ground with a missed shot....something has to be called!!!!!!!!

Can't be at the top of the game 24/7. But we need to win when not at the top of our game, and also win when we are.

Looks like these refs have taken over the game...guess they bet on N.FL to cover the spread.

Nice win for the Gophers. Dominated a team they should beat and the bench got a ton of playing time. Nice game for Mo, Oto and Mav. Poor part 1-12 from 3 pt. line. That is an area that will kill us in big ten.
 

I was hoping it wasn't anything like that. Thought maybe he had an important lab or some academic obligation. Thoughts go out to him and his family.
 



This was a good win. We started out lazy on defense, but we really shut them down for the final 30 minutes. Hats off to Trevor, Rodney, & Austin. They played great today.

- #18 North Carolina State loses the one game they played. DOWN
- #17 Cincinnati loses (or almost loses) at home to Alabama. DOWN
- #16 Missouri was solid. UP
- #15 North Carolina schooled by Indiana. DOWN
- #14 Michigan State loses at home to Miami and takes it out on "Nich". DOWN

What are the chances Kentucky falls below us?
 

Cincy won't fall below us for almost losing to Bama. Bama isn't that bad at all.

I actually think there's a better chance we jump Kentucky.
 

I guess it COULD happen. North Carolina dropped 5 spots last week despite going 2-1 with 2 convincing wins. And UNLV dropped 6 spots going 1-1.

Kentucky's losses weren't even close. OK. You convinced me. But we don't "pass" them. They drop below us. ;)

Got it.

'cept last week:
- Ohio State dropped 1 spot despite winning their only game by 45 points.
- North Carolina State dropped 2 spots despite winning their only game at home by 2 points.

Oh, and for the week 3 rankings:
- Memphis dropped 2 spots despite winning both of their games at home

On, and for the week 2 rankings:
- Duke dropped 1 spot despite winning their only game by 19 at home

So, I hear what you are saying, but maintaining a good ranking requires more than just getting by.
 

Well that depends on opponent and what the teams immediately below you do.

We should absolutely jump Georgetown after they could only score 37 points at home against a Tennessee team that probably won't amount to much this year.
