Great win by our Gophers and the staff. I know one thing.....this calls for getting absolutely *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#-canned drunk tonight to celebrate beating our old, old nemesis Nebby for the first time in a long time. :)
 

Jk has turned the ship. Program changing win today. Brilliant play calling, Cobb was amazing, stout D. Nobody will take them for granted again!

Guys, it was a nice win, but relax a little.

We will be exchanging wins with Nebraska, Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, etc from next year on... Let's act like we belong in that group of teams and that it is a nice win, but not the second coming... It all has to do with confidence and expectations that we can and will win these games. These other teams are not Gods.

In the words of Bud Grant ... "Let's act like we have been here before" and we will be here again, time to exude confidence and not behave like school children that just got a ponies for Xmas.

It was nice to see the offense have confidence in the players and open up the game plan.

Yeah, let's bring that thread back up - this game is a perfect example of how a team can move the ball and score, even with "lesser" players (or so some on this board say), with a game plan that isn't just predictable run-middle, run-middle, prototypical & incomplete pass play, punt. Nice to finally see the past 6 quarters of Gopher football, isn't it.

It is funny to start reading this thread after the game is over and see the negative posts :D

On a side note, while watching games this afternoon and evening, does anyone else get a smile on their face seeing the Gopher score scroll across the screen! I even rewind the DVR a couple times to view it over again :clap:
