Yes. But I would expect Fleck’s ideology of paying Freshman a set # may come into play on that. Would seem like an easier number to beat if you’re a Nebraska and like a particular player.
This is probably why our program has been and will continue to be more sustainable long term. We don't need to use extra money we can use for experienced players on freshman unless they're really, really good because we have some roster depth and consistency. Nebraska is paying big on unknown production and that's high risk when you're simply trying to plug holes in the roster

We don’t question whether the high school coach likes us when a school has one kid that doesn’t choose us, I’m not sure we need to question it just because this school has 2.

Yeah, high school coach definitely can help influence where a player goes but in the end the player would be crazy not to make the decision they felt was best for them regardless of what their high school coach says.
