Watched Tyler play basketball Saturday and good athlete is an understatement. He has a chance to be special.
 

If you haven't yet, take the time to go through the video highlight thread and watch them all. You'll get pumped, trust me!

Man, the JUCO's look super impressive. Couple of VERY athletic 300+ pound guys are welcome additions. My jaw was dropping watching Jackson run down screens and seeing both O-linemen pull, get downfield, and pass protect. I know there was a lot of talk about taking so many JUCO's, but they're all insta-starters.

What time are the spectacle hat selection for Durr and Snelson again?

I like that the Gophers have signed quite a few former HS QBs. They generally bring high football IQs and athleticism.

I agree. Big thing is, can we convince them to switch positions and give it a 100%, instead of transferring out.
 


We want consumate team players. There is no "I" in team.

On the other hand, I would not mind a flamboyant game changer who backs up the talk.

I think we had 11 HS QB Kill's 1st or second year and only lost Mankato Jesus.
 


It looks like maybe the Gophers have four open scholies by the time Durr & Snelson announce their intentions.

Nice, I'm not the biggest recruit follower but 247 gave me the impression that guy wasn't coming here.
 

At least Durr appeared honest, more mature, and seemed very deliberate in evaluating his choices.

He wants to go to a good business school. He is thinking about life after football, and this is a great place for opportunites after college ball.

Congratulations young man, and welcome aboard!
 

Love the DBs, QBs, and WRs of this class. Like all the other kids we signed. Would have liked 1 more DT and one more high school OL.

Really excited about this DB group. Durr and Winfield in particular really fly around.
 


Solid, solid class overall. Wasn't as "flashy" as we had originally thought it could be, but it's still the best class we've pulled in during the Kill/Claeys era. Excited to see how the 2017 class turns out with the practice facility being one year closer to completion and what can potentially be a good year record-wise for us.
