Considering going down this route and was wondering if anyone had any feedback?
Not sure if you're referring to this, but directly using things like testosterone or HGH, etc., is probably even worse than taking some "supplement" that claims to "naturally increase your testosterone".One thing to be aware of are the known side effects of unnatural boosting of testosterone, including heart problems.

If you want to lose weight I think fasting is the best way. It works and its not as hard as it seems, I have done 10 days with nothing but water and coffee. Can't give up coffee.
Ten days? Wow - impressive. Thanks
How much have you lost?
Have you ever tried intermittent fasting?

Even cutting one meal out of the day can make a huge difference. Drinking water instead of sugary drinks is an easy switch that can shed pounds. Then of course....exercise.
I quit sweet drinks years ago. Booze is the only issue now, I think I need to quit that to get a beach body for this summer.

Do you guys really fast?
Good for you, not sure I could do it. I'm assuming this means only drinking water or do you still drink other stuff?Too lazy to start another thread so this one had some related posts.
Has anyone done much tinkering with fasting? I know intermittent fasting was gaining some steam a number of years ago (like with these posts) but I'm talking more about duration fasting.
I've done a handful of 36-hour fasts in the last 4-5 months and I like the reset. It's remarkably easy and you really find out just how much you eat out of habit or boredom (or at least I have). And I feel so much better during and after a fast. The things I've read about how your body handles it, what happens at certain points like 12 hours this happens, after 18 hours this starts to happen, etc. Cell regeneration or recycling, mental clarity, of course fat burning, et al
For a 36-hour, I basically have dinner one night around 5:30-6p or so, don't eat the following day, and then sometime the following mid-morning I start to come off it. It often ends up being 38-40 hours. I am always surprised at how NOT hungry I am during that day. There might be a 15-30 min time once or twice, late morning, maybe mid-afternoon, but once you get to later afternoon, you just have to get to bedtime. I have not once been STARVING at any point during a 36-hour fast.
I've been wanting to do a 72-hour for several months but just haven't worked it into my schedule. Too many hunting trips, holidays, sporting events, etc. I'm targeting early next week for it now, we'll see if I can finally make it happen.

100% I eat partly just because it's there. On days I'm really busy, it's not uncommon for me to get to 2:00 and realize I never ate lunch.I'm a weak bastard. I still drink some diet soda, and even some of the sugarless energy drinks I use. But I have to admit, I really feel good during and after the fast. I would guess maybe I'm not getting EVERY benefit of the fast by drinking what I do, but I have never drank coffee in my life, nor am I a Tea person. I guess those are for the most part okay. I've even seen some articles that say some diet soda isn't the end of the world.
Again, at least for ME, it really really tells you about your eating habits, why and when you decide to eat. It told me that I almost never eat when I'm HUNGRY, only when I think it's time to eat, or likely boredom, or just see something I want to eat.
Hard to describe but I really don't get that hungry during a 36-hour fast. I just finished up one this morning, having something to eat at about 39 or 40 hours. I ate a decent meal Wed about 4:30pm and didn't eat this morning until almost 8:30am
