The transfer portal is gonna be nuts, I think we need a non Gopher portal thread.

As sad as I am that the regular season is over, recruiting over the next few weeks is going to be highly entertaining.
Hopefully we can cap off this big win with a solid showing in the bowl game to catch the eyes of some higher level transfers.

I mean is it really a gift Morgan stays! Fleck could go after rattler or the Ohio State dude or any other very high ranking QB

I guess you didn't watch what happened with Rattler at OU this year surrounded by 4 and 5-star talent and a paper thin schedule? Just cause a guy was a 5-star recruit doesn't mean he will produce 5-star results. I could see Rattler ending up in the lower half of the Pac 12

The QB from out West is transferring after his HC takes a West Coast job. Coincidence?
IMO Yes. Rattler isn't following Lincoln to USC, Lincoln benched him.

He is transferring because he is firmly behind a true FR. I think it'd be more likely Jack Miller goes to USC than Rattler.

This guy is pretty good. I’m surprised that Herm Edwards hasn’t been let go.

Terrence Lewis the 5 star LB Maryland landed last year is already in the portal. No wonder Maryland's recruiting rankings never translate to wins.

It is the big flaw in team rankings on recruiting sites. May look pretty on signing day but you really can't judge how good a class is until the players have been in college for 3-4 years. Based on recruiting rankings, Nebraska should be the best team in the West.

Highly unlikely. Lincoln Riley benched him in favor of a true FR (absolute right call) and he would have left Oklahoma regardless of a coaching change.

Rattler to Ole Miss with Lane Kiffin just feels right.
It depends how much they had behind Corral. If Lane thinks Spencer is better than what is in the pipeline, then you are absolutely correct.

Yeah, I don't know much about Ole Miss depth chart, I just assumed there would be an opening because Corral was only a SO.

These two just seem like such a natural fit too, I just figure the universe is going to force this to happen.

Is there any college football team with a snake as a mascot? Rattler would a natural at that school.

I imagine Plummer is looking to go to a school where he can throw on every down and try to put up some monster numbers in hopes of having the pros take notice. His situation is not terribly different from Annexstad's although Plummer played a lot more at Purdue than Annexstad did for us.

Iowa's #3 QB went in the portal the other day. Deuce Hogan. Was a high 3* with SEC offers. There are over 50 QB's that went into the Portal
