Nic McKissic-Luke taking Jets RB Coach Position?

David Cobb?
Mo?
Kirkwood?

or see what it takes to get Burns to give up on the HC job where he has struggled and come back home

The quickest way to get an NFL coaching gig appears to be going thru the University of Minnesota. You’d think they’d get a lot of good candidates for that now open position.

I don’t think Fleck would take Cobb or Kirkwood being they were Kill guys. Timing is so unfortunate on Mo and Burns. Good chance Burns is fired after this year and I doubt Fleck poaches Mo from Burns.

1-23 doesn't cut it in MACtion?

Mo would come here in a heartbeat if given the chance. Kent State would let him walk.

The timing is crazy, the ink has literally just dried. It’d be tough for Burns to be upset if it comes down to it.

There's way more good than bad when your coaches are considered hireable and are being hired away. I'm telling you, Fleck has a weird shtick for some, but this program is professional AF and it's created some great opportunities for players and coaches alike who've come through here

This is true only when they're promotions. So the guys going to the NFL yes. I am still annoyed at Heatherman and Rossi.

It's all about $$ most of the time these coaches leave. I'm convinced it has little to do with Fleck other than if you think he doesn't go to bat enough for better wages.

It’s still true when they are getting large pay raises elsewhere even if keeping the same title.

He's finding people who are considered qualified for other jobs by other organizations. That's my point. I don't care why they leave, they're considered hireable. Fleck finds quality guys.

I agree. Some people still try to push a narrative that people don’t want to work for him and that’s why they leave.

Lawrence Maroney is available for cheap! 👍

1. Unless you're a well established HC or OC/DC at a blue blood, you're going to move around and have a lengthy resume. That's football. You want to learn from everyone, experience different systems, looks, teams, etc etc etc. This has been the case for decades. If I'm a RB coach in the B1G and I get a chance to coach in the league, I'm taking that 10/10. Also the money.

2. Everyone needs to pump the brakes. I see this as a good sign (hear me out) - PJ is building the type of program that will attract talented coaches because it will boost their experience and careers. Eventually, if you can get the admin to pony up the money, you can keep some of those guys around. But I don't see the issue with it.

3. Turnover happens in every industry. If I started a company, and suddenly I saw an increased pipeline of talent with desire to work with me, I'd see it as a good sign. It's a bad sign if you aren't able to replace the talent that will eventually leave (inevitably!)

They will hire Jayden Everett. He was just hired a few weeks ago by South Alabama.

Everett has 14 years experience and has been to 8 schools. Based on average, Mo will be our RB coach in 1-2 years.
And realistically it's good for Mo to get experience working at a different school.

Does ha have any type of track record in recruiting circles??
Looks like he was the recruiting coordinator during his time at Indiana State. Not sure what his track record was, but I think that at least shows he’s been heavily involved.
