Sorry if this has been announced and posted before:

Fox Sports North is carrying the Press Conference introducing Coach Kill at 2 p.m.

Thanks.

GO GOPHERS!!!

Sounds like this could be a good thread to discuss the news conference as it happens....

just background noise on the 'cco feed, but it is fun to compare the btn guy whose clearly standing on something and what looks like marney gellner side by side.

I didn't know there was such a thing as "Pittsburgh State", but Kill was offensive coordinator there haha.

Maturi: "We talked with lots of people that we needed to meet our criteria". Tells me that any bull$hit in the background disqualified them.

If anyone mentions that Kill is a short, fat, bald man, who wears glasses (as one person on one thread stated), I will pull a Merle Haggard and sing: "Walking on the Fightin' Side of Me".

He actually does look like a gopher lolz. I

nteresting things said by maturi and he subtly let you know who wasn't considered and why to try and stop the bashing.

This dude just fits in here. Hopefully he can win here too....

"I know what you're all trying to figure out... that's not my daughter, that's my wife."

damnit that's the second time his wife has been called out. anyone got a picture of her?

Awesome, "This isn't the first time I haven't been the first choice", at least that's what I think he said lol

He's definitely a small town guy. He seems like a good coach, but he seems like he should be coaching Iowa with that hillbilly mindset.

Good to know he knows what he's walking into, talking about fan disappointment.

"Let's all go in the same direction, so we can make good things happen"

"This is not jerry kills football team it's the university of minnesota football team." ok, he's won me over.

Me likey more and more. Not quite anti-Brew because he has his passion.

Joe schmidt first Q: about a big name hire

Joe Schmit goes right to the question.
