Could be a very decent under-the-radar commitment. 6-3 and 275 pounds right now...get him to RS one year and he could make a decent-sized guard in the Big 10.

Corey Gaynor, an offensive lineman from Florida, gave the Gophers a verbal commitment Thursday, picking Minnesota over reported offers from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, South Florida and Central Florida, among others.

The 6-4, 280-pound Gaynor attends Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, Fla. The Gophers now have eight commitments for the Class of 2017, including two other offensive lineman -- Marshall's Blaise Andries and Robbinsdale Cooper's Eric Abojei.

When I watched the video, my thought was that he plays to the echo of the whistle. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing for an O lineman.

I recall the opening video they used to play where Jerry yells "PLAY TO THE WHISTLE! THE WHISTLE DIDN'T BLOW!!!"
