Staffing issues, running out of food, and lines are often much larger issues at the bank versus other venues. Williams Arena is not immune to this either. I'm not a frequent diner at HB stadium, but I bet at least 50% of the times that I do, they either have run out of the food I want, have payment issues, or some other calamity has occurred that makes the experience not worth it.I wish I could enjoy the food options more.
But the inconsistent staffing / service speed makes it so that unlike other sports venues in town ... I just don't bother looking for anything specific / fun at TCF because it will take forever to get it (outside of going in the gate very early).
Come on man ... nobody could have predicted that on a hot day people might buy a lot of bottled water!Staffing issues, running out of food, and lines are often much larger issues at the bank versus other venues. Having been to all B1G stadiums, the Gophers actually have some of the best concessions, even with all their issues. The majority of other stadiums are more like a high school football game than big-time athletics. We're apparently just a little spoiled with all the pro teams in town that actually run their concessions much more efficiently and fan friendly.
Good grief, I forgot about that. What makes it even better is that you can't bring in empty water bottles to fill yourself. On every Twins radio broadcast, Pentair advertises that you can bring in a bottle and refill with filtered water at the stadium. Reduces the massive amount of plastic water bottles produce, and is generally good publicity. Meanwhile the Gophers security will make you throw out your completely empty reusable water bottles if you try and bring them in. Dude, seriously, why can't I bring in my empty Nalgene? Just so you can charge me $6 (or whatever it costs) to buy your water...and then run out of it? With three young kids, I learned to just hide empty water cups strategically in our stadium bags under their stuff. End rant.Come on man ... nobody could have predicted that on a hot day people might buy a lot of bottled water!

Kudos to Painini for offering something that doesn't make your heart valves snap shut just by looking at it.
It is one of those fast food joints people talk about you go to and "uh ... wut?"I never got the hype around chik-fil-a. Granted the only one I ever went to was the one in Coffman and I'm sure the quality there was a bit lacking compared to other locations, but it just seemed like another chicken sandwich to me.
That and the bathroom lines. Kind of have to choose one or the other or you'll miss a bunch of the game. They really need to put something on the upper concourse to help with the crowding.I wish I could enjoy the food options more.

It's about same quality as stand alone.I never got the hype around chik-fil-a. Granted the only one I ever went to was the one in Coffman and I'm sure the quality there was a bit lacking compared to other locations, but it just seemed like another chicken sandwich to me.
Agree- Popeyes is much better than Chick-Fil-AI never got the hype around chik-fil-a. Granted the only one I ever went to was the one in Coffman and I'm sure the quality there was a bit lacking compared to other locations, but it just seemed like another chicken sandwich to me.
I don't know if a drinking fountain is even an option anymore. I haven't seen one anywhere that didn't have any "Out of Order" sign on it in over two years.Save water, drink beer? Take kids to drinking fountain.
