A huge thank you to RichWeb who did such a phenomenal job updating our current message boards. We appreciate all of everyone's patience and feedback.

The next update for the day has been long awaited for many of our GH members...a smartphone application so you can access GopherHole message boards anywhere, at anytime.

We have a few different options for you. Some of them are paid, but you should know that GopherHole will not be receiving any revenue for the app; it's just a feature we wanted to offer our readers. We're still learning, but wanted to post what we knew about the options, and want to encourage you to chime in with tips or questions as you download them.

I couldn't wait to install it, so I did Tapatalk and installed it on my Blackberry. You'll want to go to app world, search for Tapatalk, and it will give you option to pay via Paypal or Credit Card. the $3.99 app ends up being $4.28 with taxes. Then you go into the app and search for GopherHole, and it's wonderful!

Just downloaded Forum Runner (free) to my G2 Android. Looks really good. I'll see how I like reading it vs. just reading it in a browser on my phone, which already works well, and see if I want to move up to the paid version.

Nice app though.

Kudos to GopherHole staff and thanks for the upgrades! Great improvements and is user friendly.

If not mistaken, many of the changes/upgrades were suggestions listed by participating members in last winter's Unscientific GopherHole Survey. It pays to make your wishes known in the survey (what you like and don't like about GopherHole). Thank you, again, to those that participated in the survey. The GopherHole Staff does listen to its members.

DL65, you are absolutely correct. Many of the suggestions that our readers have made led directly to these changes, as well as the many changes coming in the next few months. It has just taken a considerable amount of resources (both financial and time) to get this all accomplished. Thanks for everyone's ideas.
