NCAA Tournament 2025

ND pounding MI. Olson playing a nice game. Another MN player would have loved 2 in maroon/gold.
I would really like to have Olson on the Gophers. But, she had 5 turnovers and 1 assist. I think some posters would be ripping on a Gopher player that had those statistics..

Indiana played South Carolina tough….

Hasn’t women’s basketball come far enough where games aren’t played at a home court? Seems ridiculous that Indiana has to play that game at South Carolina?
I’ve been saying the same thing. NCCA expressed concerns that attendance would be an issue. The top teams have a huge advantage by being able to play @ home. Hopefully, the game will continue to grow to the point where they can play @ neutral sites.

Michigan State getting stepped on down 50-25. Big Ten not looking good beyond USC and UCLA.

The old BIG10 isn't athletic enough for any of the teams to make it to the sweet sixteen. Tennessee ran past Ohio State. Too be honest, if you take L Betts from UCLA, they aren't that good either. USC is the only team that can make a deep run - thanks to the transfers. The SEC and ACC is where the powerhouse teams reside.

With five post season tourneys going on at the same time, the majority of patrons are watching the Men's NCAA Tourney and UCONN/ USC woman's BB teams just to watch Bueckers and Watkins. That's about it.

Illinois down 22 in 3rd to Texas. Another team not athletic enough to compete.

Good god, now I find myself cheering for Iowa and Maryland which are not my favorite Big Ten Teams, but would like to see some conference team advance in the tournament.

Maryland down by 17, ties it to force overtime. 2 Alabama players fouled out.

Big Ten teams dropping like flies. Illinois loses by 17, Michigan State and Iowa both loss by 34.

Spot on. Somewhat surprising that Indiana and Iowa couldn’t use their programs all-time best players (Holmes and Clark) as bell cows to attract elite recruits, especially because they are both attendance juggernauts. But with one exception for Iowa, IU and Iowa have done nothing but strike out with McDonald’s AA HS recruits.

The portal will be very interesting for the BIG. Michigan needs help for their great freshman class, and every other legacy BIG team that hopes to be a top 5 BIG team next year needs help from the portal.

Athleticism athleticism athleticism. It continues to just jump off the screen.

Here’s a player from SDSU that should be in the B1G

6’2”. SD player of the year. Bringing ball up against UCONN.

OK, this is not a new take, but the NCAA is a joke as far as women's hoops goes. SDSU is required to go to Storrs to play UCONN. The outcome would not have been different at another site, but give me a break.

As the divide gets wider, no one will go to a neutral site to watch 40-70 point blowouts.

Yep....it's ridiculous. Watched Alabama vs. Maryland. 4 vs. 5 matchup and Alabama has to play on Maryland's home court. Lost in double overtime btw.

At the D2 level, Coach P's daughter Lexi is playing for Grand Valley State. They are facing Pittsburg State tonight in the national semifinals on ESPN+.

Yes, Women either need their own regional or they could even make a regional the host to both mens and womens games. Women first Wednesday 4 games, Thursday 4 games Mens, Friday 2 games Women, Saturday 2 games Mens

This may happen in the next 3 to 5 years.
