I can vouch for it... I know someone that was somewhat involved with one of PJs recruits and he said it is family and life (career, etc.) first, football second.Just watched Fleck's signing day presser. I know that he has been here a while, but I am still amazed at this gift of gab (in a good way). I am also impressed that he really seems to take an interest in these kids and their families. For that alone he should be commended. Go Gophers!
This doesn't surprise me. I flew from Vegas to Fresno for the game a few years ago. I ended up sitting next to a parent of one of the Vegas players on the way over. He said that Fleck had phoned him (unsolicited) and chatted about his son. One of things that Fleck apparently made clear to the father was that if the son called and asked for $, the father should know that everything that the player needs for school is covered (food, books, housing, tuition, fees, etc) and that is should not be necessary to send the kid $. The father really appreciated that call. And it is my guess that not all head couches would make that call. Go Gophers!I can vouch for it... I know someone that was somewhat involved with one of PJs recruits and he said it is family and life (career, etc.) first, football second.
I like his running ability.
Anarchy is not a system and NIL is unsustainable. Anarchy always leads to its opposite - regimentation. A restoration of order is inevitable. At present nothing matters but the Playoff. Fans will tire of that and demand regional divisions, recognizable loyalties, geographic limitations, local identities. We now have the Tower of Babel, with the Playoff the highest Babel event. What color is the sky in your world, lol.
