National Championship Game

Coach P Sr just got a bit excited. I think of Louisville stays out of foul trouble they have it.

The foul they called on Burke was brutal. Good thing that wasn't his fourth, I'd hate for a really good game to be even further tarnished by crappy reffing.

That was an instance where the ref makes the call because they ASSUME there is a foul. Horrible...absolutely horrible.

I hope Pitino Jr. has the same fire that his Dad is showing pacing the court tonight!

When the shooter steps into the defender and undercuts him.....the foul needs to be on the shooter. Same with Burke's second foul.

Congrats to Louisville.

Now lets hope our own Coach P eventually has the same success.

While there have been some B.S. calls against Michigan, they only have themselves to blame for losing this game. Defense wasn't good enough. They had a big lead then just fell asleep guarding that Hancock guy. 4 straight threes with not much pressure on him. Too many missed important free throws and too many jump shots.

Also, Hardaway, Jr. is vastly overrated. A first round draft pick? Are you serious? Big tournament games and he continues to shoot the ball terrible while forcing many shots. Robinson, Jr. is supposed to be a first round draft pick, too. I hardly could tell he was playing for most of the game.

Yet another year with no Big Ten team cutting down the nets.

Great game! Coaching made the difference...the Pitino effect.

Why wasn't he wearing Gopher gear? Fire him.
Hold your horses. If this is anything like the WWF, while his old man is being awarded the trophy, Richard is going to walk up to his dad like he's going to hug him, pull a fast one and bodyslam him, followed by a leg drop, then rip off the Louisville shirt to reveal a Gopher shirt as he walks out the building with the trophy in hand.

i had just gone to the kitchen to get myself a drink and from a distance I thought I saw Richard. Great to know that was indeed he. Great PR for the Gophs.

Looaville was the better team. Didn't take possessions off. Michigan took a few defensive possessions off and that was enough.

Good point by Doogie here. Get ready Mo!

Good reminder brought up on CBS postgame: Louisville is incredibly well-conditioned. #Gophers players in for a treat this summer/fall.

Sorry to see his leg break...but I'm done with this Ware stuff. Life could be worse.

One shining moment- Tubby shakes hands with Howland. A little irony...

The season for College Basketball ended with one hell of a good game. Congrats to both teams for a great game.

LOL at the Tubby and Howland handshake during the your time is short part.

+1.
