You asked the question (on the Gopher board) and he answered.

Your tough guy routine looks bizarre when you're passive aggressively terrified of the University of St. Thomas.
 


Its unfortunate, yet understandable, that St.Thomas has to wait to be eligible for the ncaa tourney. Transitioning to D1, I would say they are ahead of pace of where they should be, as I'm sure they would have gotten better recruits knowing they could play for a chance at the tourney

Totally makes sense to have a waiting period. Maybe even more so in the NIL era

Don’t want people to move up, get some recognition and publicity by purchasing a team then drop out

To be a d1 school, need to force a long term commitment. I totally get it.
I feel like a fair deal would be a 3 year wait period. Meaning in their senior year a freshmen commit could be eligible
