Very true. I believe Breckenridge was about the same size. Thing was, who was Moorhead going to play up there. Couldn't be in a conference with Nodak schools. They refused to play Fargo Shanley......claimed Shanley was recruiting their players. Moorhead had some real powerhouses in the 60's. Pretty sure moorhead is an "independent" they play schools like St. Cloud tech, buffalo, bemidji, brainerd, grand rapids, the Duluth schools, thief river, detroit lakes(but detroit lakes is dropping in enrollment I believe and trying join the heart o lakes). I'm guessing I missed some other schools...feel free to correct

Looks like Mhd is in the Mariucci Conference for hockey but that's all I see.

The video mentioned that TCF Bank Stadium is nicknamed the "Gopherhole". I don't think I've ever heard it referenced as that. :confused:
